Responsibilities:
Execute engineering tasks, projects and manufacturing assignments
Perform updates to the ERP as it relates to the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Recipes as needed to reflect accurate standards and execute any related time studies
JOB IS FROM: nursingjobs.siteVIEWSupports continuous improvement initiatives in either business process or manufacturing process work streams
Drafts protocols, technical reports and other required documentation for process validation of molds or processes
Completes 3D CAD model and 2D drawing assignments for new product designs using SolidWorks
Learns basic industry regulatory requirements and applies them in his/her engineering assignments
Learn manufacturing skill sets such as extrusion and injection molding and be able to perform various tasks associated with those
Qualifications:
In pursuit of or has obtained a B.S. degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Cumulative GPA of 2.9 minimum
Successful completion of at least 2 semesters or periods of academic work including mechanical, biomedical, chemical, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical discipline
Ability to learn a structured regulatory environment with advanced quality systems such as FDA practices, ISO13485 or ISO 9001
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and bias for action
Technical writing skills
Proficient in MS Word and Excel; ability to learn and apply other business software
Basic technical knowledge of materials, such as plastic, rubber, metals and plating/coating
Strong mechanical aptitude, basic hands-on and problem-solving skills
Ability to use basic tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, force gages and other test equipment
Accurate and attentive to detail
Collects and makes educated decisions based on data
Other projects which may become necessary to attend to as needs arise
