We are looking for an intern in our growing German Speaking Part of Switzerland team, within the Private Banking Department in Zurich.
Internship overview
The Private Banking operation is a core component of Deutsche Bank and provides access to the full range of the firm’s services. As a global, multi-jurisdictional Private Bank, we offer dedicated and holistic solutions to (ultra) high-net-worth families. With our superior lending, FX and fixed income capabilities combined with full transparent access to global markets as well as deep institutional research and industry insights, we have a strong position as a bank for family entrepreneurs.

In our challenging and fast-paced environment, strong qualitative and numerical as well as creative problem-solving skills are key to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients.
In addition, you will need strong communication and presentation skills, a high level of motivation, a fascination for finance plus a collaborative approach to working.
Responsibilities
As part of your role, you will participate in designing a marketing strategy aimed at growing the current Private Banking relationships as well as identifying new business opportunities in Switzerland.
You will work “top-down” on a broad spectrum of private banking topics, starting with an analysis of the Swiss Private Banking market, narrowing down to the right niche strategy for Deutsche Bank to some day-to-day interactions with various stakeholders.
Background & skills
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ideally in business administration, finance or economics) or have graduate no more than 6 months before the internship start
- Good understanding of the finance industry as well as current business and economic environment
- Strong numerical skills, quick and ambitious learner
- High degree of professionalism as well as strong drive and commitment
- Ability to work under pressure in a vibrant environment and dealing with multiple requests at the same time

- Fluency in English and German
- Keen interest in the Swiss Private Banking landscape as well as willingness to develop a long-term career in Switzerland
