Our Emerging Technology Strategy team in Chula Vista, CA is looking for a summer 2025 intern to be involved in our Team Internship Program (TIP). This student will support responsibilities across multiple engineering disciplines on a regular basis. May also include supporting professional employees required to perform activities across several disciplines. Analyzes projects to develop changes to programs and processes to increase efficiency. Evaluates possible new approaches to meet project objectives.

What You Will Do:

• Complete generalized optimization method project supporting composite component design activities.

• Perform Research and Technology tasks in an internship team aligned to the effort and typically configured with a Project Engineer, Designer, and Analyst.  In other words, the interns define the roles they will assume to support completing the project.  There is both a mid-term and final presentation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract.
