We are seeking an enthusiastic and curious high school student for a Digital Technology Internship this summer. This internship will provide you with exposure to the field of digital technology, offering valuable experience in IT, software development, and technical problem-solving. You will work alongside professionals in a collaborative environment, gaining insight into the intersection of digital tools and aerospace advancements.
What You Will Do:
You will learn about Software Quality Assurance within Collins.
You will create test cases from business requirements.
You will Test Web Applications by following assigned test cases.
What You Will Learn:
- You will learn the importance of Software Testing.
- You will learn Test Management tool (Qtest).
- You will learn agile/waterfall methodology.
- You will learn Functional Test automation tool (Tosca).
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Enrolled in a NAF Academy as a rising Senior or Junior in a U.S. high school.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Professionalism and respect for fellow interns, employer and staff.
- Willingness to learn by asking questions and contributing ideas.
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java, HTML, etc.) is a plus but not required.
Notes:
- Internship is 7 weeks, approximately 24 hours per week.
- Technical experience is not required for this internship.
- Background check and drug screen required (every external new hire in the U.S.).
- Drug Screen only performed on re-hires who have been gone for more than 1 year.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
