Unit Description: Provides professional nursing care to patients within a specific subset of cancer diagnoses. The Staff Nurse II functions as an essential member of an oncology care team that includes physicians, APPS, scheduling and social work. Strong communication skills, telephone triage, patient communication and education, multidisciplinary coordination and teamwork essential to this role.
