Job Summary:  

Comptroller Intern will work primarily with the Deputy Comptroller and will develop organizational skills as well as gain experience in professional writing and research in a dynamic workplace.

Essential Functions:

Database Management

· Create and maintain database of award of industry and employee award opportunities in four major areas of industry: Audits, Telecommunications, Finance and Postal and Packaging Operations Content Development:

· Assist in drafting and updating employee bios, program achievements and project summaries for use in awards submissions.

· Draft compelling applications and nomination packages that highlight achievements and qualifications.

Market Research

· Research industry trends to identify new awards or recognition programs

· Track submitted applications and outcomes for future planning Internal

Communications & Support

· Collaborate with staff to gather necessary information and ensure submissions align with award criteria. (metrics, testimonials, photos)

· Ensure applications are submitted on time with required documentation

· Maintain a clear timeline of tasks and deadlines related to awards and submissions

Minimum Qualifications:        

Education:

Required: H.S. Diploma and College Courses (Current Sophomore, Junior or Senior)

Preferred:

The following Majors and/or coursework are preferred:

Information Technology Management:

Data Analytics

Marketing Research and Analytics:

Communications:

Business Administration:

Licenses, Registrations, and Certificates

N/A.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Required: Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Preferred: Experience in database management, information systems, organizational skills, statistical analysis, content development skills, organizational operations, project management, and/or strategic planning.
