The Graduate Nurse Program:
This exciting 12-month program is the perfect launchpad for your nursing career. We’re here to guide and mentor you as you make the transition from university to your new role as a Registered Nurse. The program provides you with the hands-on experience you need, along with one-on-one mentorship from seasoned professionals, ensuring you develop the skills to excel in aged care and residential health settings. We have roles available in both permanent full-time and part-time for the August 2025 intake. These roles require you to be available on a rotating roster including AM, PM, Nights and Weekends.
As a Graduate Nurse, you’ll:
Deliver and oversee the provision of high-quality care to residents
Practice within a diverse and multi-disciplinary care team
Embody a person-centred approach, recognising and promoting the individual’s unique goals and preferences
Participate in clinical risk management and continuous quality improvement activities

About You:
We’re looking for passionate, caring individuals ready to make a difference. You’ll be someone who:
Demonstrated compassion, empathy and advocacy. Our teams have a passion for what they do and the impact they make to our residents and their families.
Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure the best possible resident experience, teamwork and standard of care
Your ability to work independently and demonstrate sound decision-making
A completed university nursing degree.
Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
Applicants must have full Australian working rights at the time of application (i.e., Australian citizen, permanent residency, NZ citizen or an unrestricted visa).
A commitment to completing the 12-month program.

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
