About the role
We are seeking suitably qualified Registered Nurses motivated for a position in education leadership and support, to apply for the Scrub Scout Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) position.
The CNE is responsible for enhancing skills and knowledge by providing education that is based on current best practices.
This includes planning, coordinating, delivering, implementing, and evaluating clinical education needs, both at the unit level, as well as assisting with educational requirements across the organization.
As a CNE, you will report to the L&D Manager and be part of the team of experienced CNEs at St Vincent’s Private Hospital.
The required working days for this position are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Please note an existing CNE position works Tuesdays, and this advertised position will share the role as part of a job-share arrangement.
About you
Recent extensive experience within perioperative services.
Hold relevant clinical and/or education post-graduate qualification/s (Masters level preferred).
Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, contemporary educational strategies, tools and approaches.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development of self and others.
