About the role
The Recovery Unit consists of patients after they have undergone anaesthesia and surgical procedures.
Responsible for maintaining patient safety, monitoring vital signs, managing pain, providing patient education, and providing comprehensive handover as well as appropriate documentation.
Recovery Nurses play a vital role in ensuring patients transition safely from surgery, with an emphasis on emotional support.
Supported by a Nurse Manager, Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and a great team working alongside you.

About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
Demonstrated strong communication skills with the ability to provide high quality patient care under pressure.
Demonstrated experience in acute care setting such as operating theatres or other relevant area.
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
