Job Summary
We are seeking a triage RN for family practice who is available to work either four, 10 hour days from 7am to 5:30pm with Wednesday's off or five, 8 hour days between 8am-5pm. This position is flexible and can offer a hybrid schedule with work in office at least 2 days a week.This position plays a crucial role in patient care by responding to telephone calls and in-basket messages, assessing patient needs, and coordinating with providers to deliver timely result notes. This position requires strong collaboration and teamwork, as the nurse will work closely with providers and staff to ensure efficient and compassionate patient care. Ideal candidates should have experience in family practice triage and excel in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Responsible for patient care and support within our hospital's outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.
Essential Functions
-Deliver direct patient care and support in our ambulatory care unit, ensuring high nursing standards.
-Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
-Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
-Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
