Summary

Uses initiative and independent judgement, plans and implements professional nursing care for patients in accordance with policies. Provides care for pediatric and adult patient populations. Assumes supervisory responsibilities as assigned. Assists physicians as required.Current BLS certification; knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding. Six months work experience in physician's office in a medical support role; experience and proficiency with allergy testing, mixing of allergy vaccines and vaccine administration preferred. Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills. Verbal and written skills required. Has strong computer skills. Demonstrates effective organizational and leadership skills.Speech and auditory acuity for communication of patient's needs. Visual and auditory acuity for observation of patients. Much standing, stooping, kneeling, walking, bending and lifting. Position may involve skin, eye, mucous membrane or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious material. Ability to work under mental and physical stress is necessary.
