Shalom Parkside Senior Living is seeking a dependable, caring, and safety-focused
**Van Driver**
to join our team. In this role, you'll provide transportation services for our residents, ensuring they arrive safely and comfortably to medical appointments, therapy sessions, community outings, and other scheduled destinations.

What You'll Do
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments, dialysis treatments, and community outings
- Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, including those with mobility limitations
- Ensure residents are transported in a safe, comfortable, and timely manner
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of facility transportation vehicles
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility transportation policies
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, schedulers, residents, and families
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the facility in the community
**Qualifications**
- Valid Virginia Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Previous experience driving a passenger van, shuttle, or medical transport vehicle preferred
- Ability to safely assist residents with wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility devices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to pass all required background screenings and driver eligibility requirements
